
Our In vitro studies
Our In vitro studies are miniaturized test systems under “artificial” conditions for pathogens able to grow in medium without the need for living plant material.
We provide a full dose-response relationship study with EC50-calculation. We collect single culture isolates from pathogen samples collected from the field or air and inoculate the pathogen isolates in medium containing different concentrations of fungicides. The pathogens are grown in 96- or 24-well format/plates, or on petri dishes and evaluated by our scientists.
The resulting data is analysed for trends on potential resistance and adaptation, including seasonal, local, regional and European trends.
We continuously develop and improve methodologies for our In vitro studies for pathogens susceptible to grow in medium in the field of agriculture and horticulture.
